DPS Foundation to deliver 6,000 meals every week to families during school closures
The Durham Public Schools Foundation (DPS Foundation) is announcing an initiative to deliver prepared meals, produce, canned goods, books, and other supplies to 1,500 DPS families on a weekly basis for at least the next two months. Your Support Is Reaching Over 1,000 Families
A week and a half ago DPS announced that schools would be closing. Since that moment, our community has come together in an incredible demonstration of support and caring for each other. Since we emailed about urgently needed funds for students impacted by school closures, <strong>841 people have given $112,412! </strong>We are amazed by this outpouring of care for and from our community. There are two priorities for these funds.</p>

DPSF Launches a new Teacher Leadership Academy
