“As immigrant mothers, it is very hard to feel that we can influence the way the schools include our children in the daily curriculum, a grant from DPS Foundation gave us that chance.”

Programs & Partnerships

Learn more about our programs and partnerships below. We work with organizations and families across DPS and Durham to create safe, inspiring, and empowering spaces for families to connect, support their children, and advocate for their academic success and overall wellbeing.

Some programs have a focus with specific age groups while others are accessible to students of all ages and their families.

College Scholarships

We believe every DPS student deserves a debt-free college education. We provide more than 20 scholarships each year to DPS seniors to ease the financial burden of college.

Let's Do This Together

We're bringing our community together to give our children strong public schools where they can learn from well-supported teachers who help all students grow and thrive.

There are lots of ways to get involved—from serving on a grants review committee to filling teachers orders for classroom supplies. Come be a part of what we’re building!
