Where can I see my past donations or update a recurring gift?
Log in to your account to view your donor report and tax information, make an additional gift, or adjust your monthly donation (as applicable). Email development@bullcityschools.org for assistance.
Can I give to DPS Foundation through my Donor Advised Fund (DAF)?

Can I send a check instead of donating online?
Yes! Please make the check payable to Durham Public Schools Foundation and mail to: DPS Foundation PO Box 51325 Durham, NC 27717 If you’re contributing to a specific campaign, please include the name of the campaign (Example: Fill that Bus) in the notes section of the check.
How do I make a planned/legacy gift?
Legacy gifts are an important way to make a long-term impact on our public schools. Please email development@bullcityschools.org for details.
Can I give a gift of stock?
Yes! Appreciated securities can be donated by transferring them directly to our Charles Schwab & Co. Acct account. Account name: “Durham Public Schools Foundation” Account number: #2746-3907 DTC #0164 Tax ID / EIN 82-2803464 Once you have initiated the stock transfer process, please email us at development@bullcityschools.org so we know to expect the transfer funds.
Can I donate via wire or direct bank transfer?
Yes! A wire or direct transfer can be setup with our bank: Mechanics & Farmers Bank in Durham, NC. Please email us at development@bullcityschools.org and we’ll provide our account information.
Can I give through my employer?
Yes—usually! Many employers offer Workplace Giving Programs that allow you to donate directly through payroll deductions and may even match your donation. Email us at development@bullcityschools.org and we’re happy to help you determine whether your employer participates and provide the details they’ll need to complete your gift or match it.
Can I dedicate my gift in honor or memory of someone?
Yes! When making your donation, you’ll have the option to dedicate your gift in honor or memory of a loved one. If you'd like us to notify someone about your tribute gift, please provide their name and contact information during checkout.
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes. A donation receipt will be emailed to you shortly after your gift is processed. If you made a recurring donation, you’ll receive an annual summary for tax purposes each January. If you need a copy of a past receipt, email development@bullcityschools.org.
Can I give anonymously?
Yes. You’ll have the option to make your gift anonymously during the donation process. If you prefer to change your gift after donating, email us at development@bullcityschools.org and we’ll update your records accordingly.
Do you accept in-kind donations?
We do accept in-kind gifts that support our mission. If you're interested in donating goods or services, please email us at development@bullcityschools.org with a description of your proposed donation.
