DPS is all online; here's what's next

Last night the school board decided that all instruction for K-12 students will take place online for the first nine weeks of school. 

Our public schools face a monumental challenge in implementing this plan and it will take the support of our entire community to fulfil the promise of public education and ensure high-quality digital learning for all. We must come together now to ensure every student is supported at the start of school.

Just as we mobilized thousands of community members for meal relief through Durham FEAST, DPS Foundation is raising funds, facilitating innovative partnerships, and directing resources to the top needs in our schools. 

DPSF is launching 3 initiatives to galvanize financial and non-financial community resources to support our students, families and educators through this crisis. We need your help in three areas:
